Members donned hard hats for an exclusive tour of downtown’s newest high-rise, 609 Main at Texas. Designed by Pickard Chilton and developed by Houston’s Hines, 609 Main will stand 48 stories tall and is the tallest building built in Houston in the last 30 years. Notable tenants will include Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Orrick, Hogan Lovells, Russell Reynolds Assoc., and United Airlines. CHIME’s tour started in the hotel-style lobby with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and marble floors. The tour continued into the 7,000 sq. ft. modern fitness center. Members also rode up to the 44th floor where Hines will relocate their headquarters. 609 Main will open very soon and will definitely add a sparkle to the downtown skyline.
